New vendors joined and special events were featured. The Spring flower markets offer a variety of perennials, bedding plants, houseplants and cut flowers. Late June the weekly farmers' markets offer ethnic vegetables, meats and poultry. The Jamaica Farmers' Market specializes in specialty foods with an ethnic focus.
