Farmers Market Information Days - February to March 2014

The agenda for these free workshops is as follows: Expanded FMNP training, Mandatory Farmer Training for the WIC Fruit and Vegetable Checks Program, and SNAP for direct marketing farmers and farmers markets. Learn how and why to participate in SNAP and complete the paperwork onsite to be SNAP certificied and receive your equipment.

          • Thursday, February 20th - 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at Cornell Cooperative Extension, Cattaraugus County (Ellicottville)
                
          • Tuesday, March 4th - 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at Cornell Cooperative Extension, Cayuga County (Auburn)
                
          • Wednesday, March 5th - 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at Cornell Cooperative Extension, Jefferson County (Watertown)
                
          • Thursday, March 6th - 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at Cornell Cooperative Extension, Oneida County (Oriskany)
                
          • Thursday, March 13th - 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at Cornell Cooperative Extension, Albany County (Vorheesville)
                
          • Friday, March 14th - 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at Cornell Cooperative Extension, Dutchess County (Millbrook)
                
          • Monday, March 17th - 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at Cornell Cooperative Extension, Broome County (Binghamton)
                
          • Thursday, March 20th - 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, Silberman School of Social Work, Manhattan

 

 

To complete your paperwork, you must bring with you:

 

                1. a copy of your drivers license
                
            2. a copy of your Social Security card
                
            3. a copy of a voided check from the account that you wish to use for receiving SNAP funding
